Rob's Switch Mapper is a tool I created to record the inventory information of Cisco and Aruba switches, including OS version, serial number, ports, vlans, MAC addresses, and show a diagram of how the switches are connected to each other.
It's written for both Windows (tested with Windows 11) and Linux (Debian is the intended OS but others will likely work).
The project is free and I'm happy to provide the source code if you want. You're free to redistribute, I just ask that you give me credit.
This is my first public project in a long time so I'd appreciate an email saying something like "hey, I'm using Rob's Switch Mapper". Nothing else is requested.

password (optional, if not included, you will be prompted at run time for the default password)
room (optional, handy to group your switches wiring closets)
building (optional, handy to group your wiring closets by building)
Example:

(name, dhcp-server, and users are optional. dhcp-server, when run on Windows and have a Window DHCP server, it will look up the IP address and hostname of devices too, users, will when run on Windows, attempt to get the last logged on user)
It will then output a capture folder (raw data) and a HTML file/report. (example: Hogwarts-Network-switch-report-20261014.html)
Below are the files. You only really need "swithmap.exe" (for Windows (or"switchmap" for linux). The rest are samples or instructions.
